Mr. Vicky Shaw, the Chair of PHDCCI Kashmir, and Deputy Director Iqbal Fayaz Jan were cordially invited by Director Skill Development J&K, Shri Sudershan Kumar (JKAS), to the prestigious first Industry Academia Meet 2024.

The event, aimed at fostering collaboration between academia and industry, brought together the brightest minds and leaders from both sectors under one roof. The Chairman of PHDCCI highlighted the importance of conducting skill gap analysis annually to cater to the local industry cluster needs effectively.

During the meet, a proposal was put forth to organize a national skill summit in partnership with PHDCCI, showcasing a commitment to furthering skill development initiatives in the region.The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Director of Industries Kashmir, Mr. Khalid Majeed (JKAS), and the principals of Government Polytechnics’ and ITIs from the Kashmir region.
