Mughal road, connecting Shopian with Poonch & Rajouri districts, was thrown open for traffic after clearance of landslide debris near Poshana, officials said on Monday afternoon.

They told GNS that the landslide occurred at Poshana last evening, forcing the closure of the thoroughfare. Men and machinery were pressed to clear the landslide debris, they added. “Both way traffic has been restored,” they added. Poshana has been sort of trouble spot along the thoroughfare as landslides frequently occur there.
