Langate, Mar 31: A warm and grand farewell ceremony was held to honour Nazir Ahmad Pir, a dedicated Flood and Irrigation Officer (serving as Ziladar), on his superannuation from the department after years of exemplary service.
The event was attended by prominent figures, including Senior officers of the department along with several social and religious personalities from the area.
Attendees extended heartfelt congratulations to Nazir Ahmad and wished him a healthy, peaceful, and fulfilling post-retirement life.
MLA Sheikh Khursheed lauded Nazir Ahmad Pir’s long and sincere contribution to the department, particularly highlighting his role as Ziladar. “He performed his duties with utmost loyalty, honesty, and dedication, making significant contributions to the development and welfare of the area,” the MLA said. He expressed gratitude for Pir’s selfless service and prayed for his continued good health and happiness in the years ahead. He added that Pir’s commitment to public service in the Flood and Irrigation sector, noting that he always carried out his responsibilities with integrity and a strong sense of duty.
Colleagues and well-wishers described him as a sincere officer whose work left a lasting positive impact on the local community.

Nazir Ahmad Pir belongs from a Pir dynasty from Kutlari area of Mawer thanked the MLA Langate, colleagues, relatives and all those present for their kind words and support throughout his service and on this occasion.
