NC asks Admin to make ample arrangements in view of Eid Ul Fitr

National Conference Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustufa Kamal on Friday asked the administration to make ample arrangements in view of the forthcoming Eid Ul Fitr observance.

Kamal asked the incumbent administration to give directives to all the concerned departments to make elaborate arrangements for ensuring cleanliness and other related things for the general convenience of the devotees at all major shrines and Eidga’s across Kashmir.

He also impressed upon the government to give directives to the police authorities to put in place a fool proof security arrangements for the hassle free movement of people.

“Traffic police authorities should also ensure smooth plying of public and private transport and ensure that the traffic is regulated in a proper manner without any congestion in the major towns and cities across Jammu and Kashmir, particularly at all the major business and shopping hubs. The government should give directives to the PHE, PDD to ensure un-interrupted supply of water and power supply to the consumers particularly on Youm-e-Arfah,” he added.

Kamal impressed upon the people to observe the auspicious Eid Day in the light of the noble and revered teachings of the holy Prophet of Islam (SAW).

Meanwhile Party MPs Muhammad Akbar Lone and Hasnain Masoodi have called for holistic and comprehensive arrangements at all major shrines and mosques in Kashmir. They also impressed upon the government to ensure steady supply of water and electricity to the consumers on the eve of Eid Ul Fitr. (GNS)
