NC grieved over killing of civilian in grenade blast

National Conference on Saturday expressed profound grief over the killing of a civilian, Maqsood Ahmed Shah of Wathoora, Chadoora in a grenade blast at Jehangir Chowk in Srinagar and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family for their inconsolable loss.

Expressing solidarity with the family of Maqsood Ahmed Shah, National Conference Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul. Party Leader and Central Zone President, MLC Ali Muhammad Dar led a party delegation that visited the residence of Maqsood Ahmed Shah at Wathoora, Chadoora and conveyed the party’s solidarity with the bereaved family.

“The deceased was a carpenter and the lone breadwinner of the family. His demise has left the family without any support. This is a heart-rending tragedy and we stand in solidarity with them”, Ali Muhammad Dar said.
