Srinagar, Nov 25,(K Pen): Senior National Conference leader Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan on Monday said that the party’s parliamentarians will forcefully raise the demand for the restoration of Jammu & Kashmir’s statehood and special status during the upcoming Parliament session.
Ramzan said the NC remains firmly committed to seeking the political and constitutional rights that were taken away in August 2019, and its representatives in both Houses of Parliament will continue to highlight the aspirations and concerns of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
He reiterated that the restoration of statehood, along with safeguards for J&K’s unique identity, land rights and employment protections, remains central to the party’s political agenda | Kashmir Pen
