The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Monday paid glowing tributes to Party veteran, Former MLA Bijbehara Alhaj Abdul Gani Veeri on his 6th death anniversary.
The party president and vice president in their message paid glowing tributes to the party veteran Late Veeri Sahib saying late Veeri Sahib was brought in the mould of Sher-e-Kashmir’s life and struggle. Uncompromising on his principles and beliefs, he was a strong spirited person. His matchless contribution towards strengthening the party will be remembered for all the times to come. A statesman to his core, he stood for his principles until his last breath,” they said.
Party General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, AGS Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, state Secretaries Sakina Itoo, Ghulam Ahmad Shah, MP Anantnag Hasnain Masoodi, Zone president Dr Bashir Veeri, District presidents Abdul Majeed Larmi, GH Mohiudin Mir, Altaf Wani, Showkat hussain, spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, Sheikh Rafi, Shabir Kulley and others also paid glowing tributes to late leader.
A prayer meeting to commemorate Veeri sbs sixth death anniversary will be held at govt Housing Colony Anantnag from 10 AM onwards on 21st April 2021.
The party president and vice president also paid glowing tributes to Party veteran, former MLA Zadibal Sadiq Ali on his death anniversary as well. Extolling his political acumen and literary disposition, party president said, “Late Sadiq Sahib was a man of integrity, and principles. His was a versatile personality, a writer, a proficient speaker; he has left long lasting impressions on his colleagues and associates, even his detractors could help but get captivated with his persona. I pay my earnest tributes to him on his death anniversary, may Almighty grant him highest echelons in Jannah,” he said.
Party’s Vice President while paying tributes to the late leader said, “Late Sadiq Ali sahib was a conscious politician, an environmentalist, and an accomplished writer. He contributed a lot to the society through his intellectual skills and performed his duties in various capacities inside the party, and as an MLA with utmost dedication. I pay my earnest tributes to him. I pray for eternal peace to soul.” Late Sadiq Ali was the revered father of Political advisor to Omar Abdullah, Tanvir Sadiq.
Party president Dr Farooq Abdullah and vice president Omar Abdullah have also paid glowing tributes to party veteran, EX MLA and former Minister Sheikh Abdul Jabbar on his 31st anniversary.
Terming him an epitome of service, the duo said that he sincerely worked towards empowerment of people in Ganderal with commitment and passion. The duo said that late Sheikh Jabbar Sahib will be remembered for his service to the people of his constituency and the party. The duo prayed for peace to the soul of late leader.
While paying tributes to his father, party’s district president Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar said that we are committed to nurture his legacy of secular thinking and inclusive approach for one and all. ” We will continue to follow the path laid down by Late Sheikh Abdul Jabbar which is to protect J&K and its people against forces hell bent to divide us on the basis of religion, region and language,” he said.
Among others Party’s Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal; Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani; party MPs Mohammad Akbar Lone, Hasnain Masoodi, Vice Provincial President Muhammad Syed Akhoon; Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, YNC President Salman Ali Sagar have also paid glowing tributes to late Abdul Gani Veeri, Sadiq Ali and Sheikh Abdul Jabbar on their death anniversaries.
