Jammu, Feb 02 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday hailed the National Cadet Corps (NCC) for instilling in generations of young Indians the principle that national interest supersedes personal gain.
According to a News Agency Kashmir News Service (KNS), LG Sinha addressed NCC cadets from the Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh Directorate who recently participated in the Republic Day Camp in the national capital.
LG Sinha a per KNS, speaking on the Corps’ pivotal role, emphasized its contribution in molding the youth, fostering a spirit of selfless service, and building a developed society and nation.
He said that the NCC has inspired successive generations with the ethos that collective work for societal welfare embodies true leadership, underscoring the paramount importance of the nation above all else. (KNS)
