New Delhi Oct 24 (NVI): Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, met with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday, where Singh expressed the NDA government’s willingness to collaborate on the region’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Met with the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah in New Delhi. The NDA Govt under PM Narendra Modi is looking forward to working with him for J&K’s progress,” said Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in a post on X.
In addition to his meeting with Singh, Abdullah also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This follows a recent session of the Jammu and Kashmir cabinet, during which a resolution was passed demanding the restoration of statehood for the region.—(News Vibes of India)
