Srinagar, Oct 19 : The Government of India (GoI) has said that there was a need to devise a comprehensive action plan for a calendar of activities of inclusive education for the identification of Children with Special Needs (CwSN) and the training of special teachers.

In this regard, the Ministry of Education (MoE) has asked to explore avenues for convergence with the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Social Justice for effective coverage and implementation.

According to the official documents available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the MoE has said, “A comprehensive action plan for calendar of activities is to be prepared for the identification of Children with Special Needs (CwSN), training of teachers, availability of special educators, making infrastructure and ICT inclusive and awareness programmes.”
