A high level meeting of employees joint action committee was held at Jammu under the leadership of EJAC President Ab. Qayoom Wani.
In the meeting continues protest of NHM, MGNREGA and SBM employees was seriously discussed.
EJAC leaders showed their serious concern over the continuous protest of the employees working under centrally sponsored schemes particularly the employees of NHM, MGNREGA and SBM and condemned the non seriousness of the authorities towards employees in redressing the genuine issues.
It was seriously viewed that government is not taking the protest of employees serious which has adversely effected the patient care in the hospitals of Jammu and Kashmir which must be the cause of concern for everybody.
Wani said that the government and the health dept as agreed in principle the regularization of NHM employees in last year but have back tracked which has become cause of confrontation.
Wani said that highly qualified doctors and para medical staff of NHM and high qualified employees in MGNREGA and SBM are contributing by their sweat and blood and they need special attention for their genuine and justified demands but non seriousness of the authorities have pushed them to the wall which will not be tolerated by EJAC at any cost and EJAC has decided to provide full moral and physical support to the protesting employees unless and until their genuine demands are solved.
