The Directorate of School Education on Tuesday denied rumours that there had been any change in school hours in the Kashmir Valley.

According to Director School Education Muhammad Younis Malik, no change has been made in the working hours of schools in Srinagar municipal limits or other districts of the valley.
It is pertinent to mention that mentioned that the working hours of schools in the municipal limits of Srinagar are from 10 am to 3 pm while for the rest of the areas, the working hours of schools are fixed from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.
