No change in US policy on Jammu and Kashmir: US State Department spokesman

Srinagar, Feb 11 : The United State Department spokesman said  that no changes have been made in its policy on Jammu and Kashmir. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ned Price told reporters in view of the Ministry’s South and Central Asia Bureau tweet welcoming the move to restore 4G internet facility in Jammu and Kashmir, “I want to make it clear that in the region There is no change in the US policy. “
The South and Central Asia Bureau of the Ministry of External Affairs tweeted,” We welcome the restoration of 4G internet facility in India’s Jammu and Kashmir. This is an important step for the local residents and we are hopeful of continuing political and economic progress to restore normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir. ”
The entire 4G mobile internet service was resumed on February 5 across Jammu and Kashmir. Exactly one and a half years ago in August 2019, the central government removed the status of special state of Jammu and Kashmir and made it a union territory.
