The divisional administration Kashmir Friday said that there was not any possibility of re-announcing the summer vacations for the schools of the region.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri told reporters that there were no possible plans for the government to re-announce the summer vacations for schools of the Kashmir region.

“We have already changed the school timing in schools of Kashmir region. Re-announcing the summer vacation is not possible for now,” he said.

Bidhuri further said that the administration will have to take care of minimum working academic days too.

“We have to complete the syllabus of the students within the timeframe and by announcing extra vacations, we won’t be able to complete it,” he said.

The Divisional Commissioner further said that the government was monitoring the weather situations and if required the administration will take a call accordingly.
