Srinagar, Jan 02: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Spokesman Imran Nabi Dar on Friday said there would be no increase in power tariff in Jammu and Kashmir, describing the move as a “New Year gift” for electricity consumers across the Union Territory.

Dar said the decision fulfils a commitment made by the party leadership and brings relief to households during the winter season.
Calling it a New Year gift to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the spokesman said the move reflects the government’s promise fulfilled.
Taking to X, he posted, “As @JKNC_promised, there is NO increase in power tariff in J&K. New year gift from @OmarAbdullah sbs govt to power consumers in J&K.”(KNS)
