A 33-year-old migrant labourer was found dead at a village in Mir Bazar area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Quoting officials, news agency reported that on Tuesday, locals spotted a body lying in a rented room in Gassipora village and informed the concerned Police Station.

A police officer said that soon after receiving the information, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body.

He identified the deceased  as Lalwa Sadhu son of Krishan Lal Sadhu resident of Bihar. He said that he was working as a labourer and had died due to cardiac arrest.

Station House Officer (SHO) Mir Bazar, Mohammad Iqbal told KNO that inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated.
