Talented youth should be encouraged in every possible way’
Srinagar | Thursday, 26 October 2017: National Conference Working President Mr. Omar Abdullah on Thursday met Valley’s ultra marathon runner Hamid Aziz at his office at National Conference Headquarters, ‘Nawa-e-Subha’ in Srinagar and felicitated him for the feat of successfully completing the 110 kilometers Srinagar to Baltal marathon run on the 22nd of this month.
Congratulating Aziz, Mr. Omar Abdullah impressed on him to continue with his passion and explore every available opportunity to hone his talent and bring laurels to the State. “Our youth are proving their mettle in various sports and Aziz’s accomplishment is no ordinary task and he deserves all the praise and also encouragement from the system. Every possible assistance should be provided to our youth to excel in sports”, the NC Working President added.
NC Youth Provincial President Salman Ali Sagar and Political Secretary to Working President Tanvir Sadiq were also present on the occasion.
