Kavya Kaumudi International Multilingual Poets Group successfully completed one year on Zoom platform and to celebrate this success, a colorful program “Kavya Kaumudi international multilingual musical evening” was organized on November 21 st, 2021.This colourful program was sponsored by INKDEW PUBLICATION. The program started with the presentation of literary journey by Dr. Kumud Bala, President of the Kavya Kaumudi family.
Then the ten hour long musical journey began from the retro music with songs from old movies sung by well known singer of Hyderabad city ‘ Bhagyashree D Pilankar and went on for one and half hour. Her husband Mr. D. Pilankar accompanied her in singing Hindi and Marathi songs. The famous sitar player from Delhi Pandit Shri. Arup Ratan Mukherjee mesmerized the people by playing the sitar. After the sitar recital, playback singer Deepti Charya also known as the Nightingale of Hyderabad mesmerized everyone with her soulful singing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English songs .
Poets of Kavya Kaumudi Group also gave a splendid display of their singing talent in multiple languages. The names of the participants are – Dr. Hasinas Sultan – Assam, Rajeev Moothedath – Bangalore, Dr. Maithili Devi – Mangalore, Udayashree – Hyderabad, Arundhati Mukherjee – Kolkata, Swapna Behera – Bhubaneshwar. , Padmavati – Hyderabad, Dr. Puttaparthi Nagapadmini – Hyderabad, S. Ritika – Mumbai.
The amazing event ended with a live band performance by singer Binvash Bhattacharya, also known as the Kumar Sanu of Kolkata along with Mou Bhattacharya and Aparajita Basu. The trio entertained the people with their songs and kept the atmosphere grand. The program was successfully anchored by Trisheetaa Mukherjee, daughter of Dr Kumud Bala , also a strong pillar of support for Dr Kumud Bala and Kavya kaumudi.
