President of the Association Umar Iqbal Dhar while talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that registration process has been made complex that is why provisional registration that is to be granted within fifteen days, takes months together

Permanent Registration is to be granted after twelve months expiry of provisional registration but it all lingers due to reasons known to higher ups, he said.

He said that though, Government of India has been trying to simplify most of the platforms but here in case of Private Health Sector, it seems as if it’s existence is nowhere and when it comes to the implementation of Acts, Laws, Rules, Regulations, it seems it has been hijacked by some of the road hackers.

For registration of private diagnostic centers, huge flaws leaking the unjustified verdicts against the laws which otherwise simplify the process, he said adding that officials must understand the basic difficulties faced by the private health sector while seeking registration as per the laws in vogue.

He said that the government must encourage such persons who invest in the health sector as it undoubtedly offers employment to a huge population of technical and professional human resources.

Government of India while easing the process to have online registration , the establishment owners are being asked to deposit hard copy which speaks volumes while realizing the overall outcome of such process, he said, adding that the hard copies being submitted are subjected unnecessary queries which again speaks volumes about inefficient system in place who otherwise have to adhere to online system of submission besides that queries are being raised by clerical staff for their own benefits and over staying clerics must be transferred at an earliest

Against huge fee structure for example in case of PC&PNDT ACt , the concern Municipal Authorities didn’t provide any kind of service for what they are getting fee while government has been sending non-professionals for checking of diagnostic centres who have nothing to with do due to which centre owners are often being humiliated, he said.

The best persons for inspecting would be the professionals /experts of the health care services as otherwise while explaining any type of interventional comment is being hammered by such unprofessional authorities who make the bad scenes, he said, adding the offices meant for registration are not in a position to accommodate the visitors from private health sector resulting into humiliation for which the officers especially Chief Medical Officers have to ensure a proper welcoming note as otherwise the private sector is investing huge amounts of funds for seeking registration only.

He sought intervention of LG and Secretary health in this regard so that diagnostic centre owners won’t have to suffer anymore.
