Kashmir regarded as the paradise on earth is facing acute imperialistic dominion of India since past more than two decades now. The resistance struggle against Indian oppression which erupted by the end of nineteenth century has left Kashmir helter skelter socially as well as economically. The azaadi slogans chanted by every mate of Kashmir are reverberated in the form of finding long lasting solution to Kashmir issue without much developmental deadlock . This concept in Kashmir is mistaken that it can be attained through arms resistance only, irrespective of how economically we suit in todays environment of sophisticated techy world. For any country to live a peaceful and dignified life, they must have to update themselves with state of the arm defence system with defence system in place to be in tandem with the legal aspirations of people living there. In case of Kashmir, the situation is topsy turvy. we are battling out of our immediate emotional and psychological bent of mind without knowing war tactics, how a battle is to be battled successfully.
The real facet of Kashmir azaadi should be first to overtake social and economic centric issues pertaining to each and every sector, which push us towards developmental deprivation. The resistance struggle in itself has left a deep scar on the wounds left by Indian contingent with unified leadership failing to live up to the expectations of people. After the last year mass uprising and in the past as well, we have found people blaming the quality leadership at the helm of affairs, issuing clear instructions, if the current threshold is not put to a logical conclusion, we will turn against the false promises made by unified factions every time Kashmir erupts. This legal battle getting the terrorism tag is proving our moves worthless with every passing day our patriotic aspirations turning into negative rebellion. The irresponsive and illogical steps taken in view of azaadi have proved counterproductive so far as development, social and economical perspectives are concerned. We have failed over and again by the hands of unified yet contradictory separatist factions due to naïve and hollow approach they are keeping. They little care about allround societal development and proceed to unconditionally malign state growth and development. Till we are not fully capable to take care of our own needs and to do the needful for others in need, we will never get the momentum to attain the maximum out of our efforts. People here should realize that we must uplift our war torn society and take it out from economic deprivation it is suffering from. The explicit downfall of valley youth towards education and excelling in fields of their interest is also the result of brain drain due to long unfinished battle. The psychological depression among youth of valley is mostly due to insecure future they perceive living in Kashmir. Above all these issues we are confronted with regard to Kashmir cause, we need to think strategically to uplift the valley as per standards of living as we see there are number of families who live in absolute misery.
There are number of children who live without their fathers who have been consumed to keep the resistance struggle going, but albeit for no use. We are well aware how many women live as half widows, how much parents still thrive and wait for their disappeared sons to come back. But it all is without any time scale to give us any indication for resurrection. The pattern of development has been disturbed with people struggling to establish anything in Kashmir fearing clampdown and closure due to long shutdown calls given to dispense out the immediate situation. So all in all we need to come back, stay for a while and think calm and logically, that are we enough capable to fight for what we are fighting ?, are we able to succeed in our mission in absence of a well strategic plan?. Absolutely not as of now. We have to keep regular checks in place to sense any economic downfall that will lead us to developmental deprivation. We need to amend and re-mend our resistance struggle to cope up with the lost valour and find a lasting solution to our uncherished dream of right to self determination.
