Srinagar Jan 14: Amid the rush of modern life a gentle voice from Veersiran in the tourist town of Pahalgam is being heard Suhail Ahmad who writes as Raj Soub is emerging as a young Sufi poet His poetry blends Kashmir’s spiritual roots with words that feel honest and close to life.

Raj’s verses speak of inner peace love for Allah and lessons drawn from Sufi saints especially Shah Rasheed Sahib His writing focuses on patience kindness purity of heart and trust in the divine His poetry does not try to impress It stays soft and thoughtful and invites the reader to pause.

Raj Sahab said he began writing seriously in 2021, he described it not as a hobby but as a calling, he believes big spiritual ideas should live in simple everyday language that people can feel and understand.

After a recent Srinagar gathering literature enthusiast Aisha Bhat said his words feel like a mirror to the soul and a reminder of Kashmir’s old Sufi traditions.

Though still early in his journey Raj Soub is already connecting the wisdom of the past with the world of today In times filled with speed and noise his verses offer calm healing and a sense of unity.
