Pak violates ceasefire along LoC in Poonch, Rajouri

Srinagar, May 22: Pakistan on Friday morning resorted to heavy shelling on the line of control in Krishna Ghati and Nowshera sectors in Poonch and Rajouri districts respectively.

Official said that Pakistan army violated ceasefire in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch’s Mendhar and then in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.

He said that at about 03:30 AM, the Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and mortar shells along LoC in Krishna Ghati sector.

“Again at about 07:20 AM, Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Nowshera sector of Rajouri,” he added.
