In a statement, the foreign minister said he will quarantine himself for five days followed by diagnostic tests related to Coronavirus.

Speaking on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), FM said that the project will continue with the same zeal as in the past.

“We are standing beside China during their hour of need and the relationship between the two countries exemplary,” he said.

President of Pakistan Arif Alvi also took to twitter after concluding his visit to China.

President Arif Alvi said that his visit was to show solidarity with China and its people during testing times as they fend off and fight Coronavirus.

“My visit to China on invitation of President Xi Jinping was to show solidarity with China in stressful times, appreciate their outstanding effort to contain Coronavirus & for taking good care of students in Wuhan. How to #iFightCorona War in Pakistan was discussed in great detail,” Arif Alvi wrote.

The number of Coronavirus cases has risen to 237 in the country. Alone in Sindh, the government has confirmed 172 cases with 119 patients who are Zaireen and have been kept in Sukkur.

The number of confirmed cases in other provinces is: 16 in KP, 16 in Balochistan, 4 in Islamabad, 3 in Gilgit Baltistan and 26 in Punjab. ( GNN News )
