The series, which is a part of the FTP, will begin with the T20Is at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, with games on November 19, 20 and 22. The teams will then proceed to Chattogram to play out their first Test encounter in Bangladesh since May 2015, from November 26. They will then head back to Dhaka for the second fixture in whites, from December 4.

This series will be Bangladesh’s first in the current WTC window, while Pakistan have already kick-started their campaign with one win and one defeat in West Indies. They will head into the away series with an enviable record of having won 10 of their 11 Tests in Bangladesh. Their T20I numbers are equally impressive, with 10 victories in 12 outings there.

Fixtures:

  • November 19: First T20I, Dhaka
  • November 20: Second T20I, Dhaka
  • November 22: Third T20I, Dhaka
  • November 26-30: First Test, Chattogram
  • December 4-8: Second Test, Dhaka
