“Partly Cloudy Skies, Light Snowfall Expected in J&K’s Higher Reaches Today” : MeT

Srinagar, March 19: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted partly to generally cloudy skies with light snow at isolated higher reaches in Jammu and Kashmir today.

According to the forecast, the weather is expected to remain dry from March 20 to 26, with a fresh spell of light rain and snow predicted at scattered places on March 27 and 28. The weather will again turn dry from March 29 to 31.

In view of the forecast, the Meteorological Centre has issued advisories for travelers, tourists, transporters, farmers, and the general public.

Travelers and tourists are advised to follow administrative and traffic advisories, while farmers are advised to continue with their farm operations.

The public is also warned to avoid sloppy and avalanche-prone areas.
