The sumo drivers of Ashmuqam and Pahalgam area are over-charging fare illegally to passengers which has created hue and cry among the people of the concerned area.

The routes include Noor Abad, Kulgam,Home Shalibugh,Devsar, Qazigund, Khudwani , Yaripora , D.K Marg , Manzgam ,DH Pora Aharbal , Bonigam Malwan , Kund , Frisil , Kader and other areas including far-flung areas of District Kulgam.
The people of Anantnag and Kulgam have appealed the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner Anantnag and Deputy Commissioner Kulgam to look into the matter.
