SRINAGAR 07 Jul : In view of the growing demand for passport-related services, the Regional Passport Office (RPO) Srinagar will organize a special drive on Saturday, July 11, during which Passport Seva Kendras in Srinagar, Anantnag and Baramulla will remain functional.
Officials said the Passport Seva Kendra Srinagar, Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) Anantnag and POPSK Baramulla will process passport applications on the day as part of the initiative aimed at reducing waiting time and improving service delivery.
Regional Passport Officer Srinagar B S Rawat said the special drive has been planned in view of the sustained demand for passport services.
“The initiative aims to ensure timely, efficient and transparent delivery of passport services to citizens,” Rawat said.
Applicants seeking passport-related services can book appointments through the official Passport Seva website, www.passportindia.gov.in, by selecting their nearest or preferred Passport Seva Kendra and choosing an available time slot for July 11.
Officials advised applicants to report to their designated centres at the scheduled time with their appointment confirmation and all required original documents.
