Exen. R&B Baramulla Assures Macadamization Of all Inner Link Roads
Locals on Thursday protested against R&B officials in Pattan area of Baramullla District during which locals have alleged that R&B officials of Sub Division have neglected the genuine roads for macdamization programme.
Locals alleged that years have gone but roads and building department Baramullla has completely failed to macdamize inner links and Alamdar Colony opposite tehsil office of Pattan town due to which the local population of town has suffered badly.
Meanwhile locals have requested Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Bupinder Kumar to kindly take necessary measures to macdamise the inner links of Pattan town and demanded immediate action against officials of R&B for preparing biased list.
Locals told that R&B officials in last few years have misused their power and position and have macdamised selective link roads of some Influential persons on approach and the condition of rest of Pattan town is in pathetic condition.
Meanwhile locals of Alamdar Colony, Mian Mohalla , Arm Mohalla, khanday Mohalla,Par Mohalla, Iqbal colony ,Watwaan have requested Deputy Commissioner Baramullla and Chief Engineer Kashmir to look into the matter and macdamise the inner links of Town on priority basis as per the already submitted proposal.
Meanwhile Executive Engineer R&B Tawfeeq Ahmad told CNS that all the inner links of Pattan town will be macdamised on priority this year and the after colonies will be macdamised and action will be taken against the officails against whom protest was held.
