A Power Development Department lineman received an electric shock on Wednesday evening in Kalaroos area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official identifying the lineman as Bashir Ahmad Ahanger son of Ghulam Mohuiddin Ahanger told that he received a severe electric jolt during the performance of his duties.

He was taken to PHC Kalaroos from where doctors referred him to sub-district hospital Kupwara for preferential treatment.
It has been in the meantime learnt the person is stable and responding well to the treatment. (GNS)
