Srinagar, May 3:(KNC)The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has constituted a high-level committee aimed at expanding and strengthening the party’s organizational structure across the Union Territory.
The committee will be headed by senior PDP leader and former Member of Parliament Mehboob Beg.
According to party sources, the panel includes prominent leaders such as former Minister Abdul Haq Khan, former Minister Peerzada Mansoor, former Member of Legislative Council Yasir Reshi, and MLA Pulwama Waheed ur Rehman Para.
The move is being seen as part of PDP’s renewed efforts to reorganize its cadre and reinforce its political presence at the grassroots level ahead of upcoming political developments in Jammu and Kashmir.
Party insiders said the committee will focus on strengthening internal coordination, expanding outreach, and mobilizing support across regions.(KNC)
