Srinagar, March, 1 ::: Kickstarting public out reach programme in palpora Eidgah Assembly Segment a head of Parliamentary elections Peoples Democratic Party to held its workers meeting in Palpora Eidgah Srinagar today. Speaking to the gathering District President PDP Srinagar Ab Qayoom Bhat expressed his deep anguish over the high power tariff charges on poor and labour class customers and said that the frequent power cuts not only have crippled common life but also affected business and students at large and administrative insensitiveness has no regret or shame to burden with huge bills to customers.
Bhat while coming heavily on BJP over the continued hollow claims of developmental initiatives has said that the inner area’s of Down town including Palpora area in Srinagar District are being neglected people still are craving for basic amenities and developmental issues.
Speaking on the occasion senior party leader and constituency incharge Eidgah Dr Ali Mohammad Wani, said that PDP is the party with vision and commitment. He said that Mufti sahib had a clear vision about Srinagar and always showed his concern to take forward this district particularly Eidgah segment on developmental front. It was his tenure in which Eidgah has witnessed holistic developments. Emphasising the need to double up efforts to work tirelessly to strengthen the party at gross root level and gearup for party’s win in the coming elections.
PDP leader Arif Laigroo Demanding urgent restoration of Water and power supply in the areas the locals urged the leaders to urge the government for adequate supply of drinking water as the locals are forced to use unhygienic water of local river. The locals also demanded for play field for youth to provide sports opportunities in the area.
