On the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, the 555th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji the President of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mehbooba Mufti, extended her warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and across the nation.

She conveyed her best wishes to the Sikh community, celebrating the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the revered founder of Sikhism, whose teachings continue to inspire countless individuals around the world.

In her message, Mufti highlighted the profound values and universal teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, which promote love, compassion, humility, and service to humanity. She emphasized that Guru Nanak’s message of equality and oneness holds significant relevance in today’s world, particularly in a diverse and multi-cultural society like Jammu and Kashmir.

Mufti also acknowledged the spirit of harmony and unity that Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings encourage, inspiring communities to rise above differences and work together for the greater good of society. She expressed her hope that the observance of this sacred day would strengthen communal harmony and bring peace, prosperity, and goodwill to all.

The PDP President concluded her message by extending her heartfelt wishes to the Sikh community, praying for joy, health, and prosperity for everyone celebrating this holy festival.
