Jammu, Dec 17(KNS): Workers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday staged a protest in Jammu, accusing the Jammu and Kashmir government of failing to deliver on governance and development.

Raising slogans against the administration, the protesters alleged that no tangible work had been carried out by the government and expressed dissatisfaction with its performance. PDP leaders and workers gathered outside the party office, asserting that public issues remain unaddressed.

The protesters said the agitation was directed against the ruling dispensation, alleging that successive governments had failed to meet people’s expectations.

They warned that such protests would continue in the coming days to highlight what they termed as government inaction.

Security arrangements were put in place to maintain law and order during the protest.(KNS)
