Pensioners shouldn’t pay heed to false propaganda to visit offices for getting Pension: Social Welfare

To clear the air regarding false propaganda being spread with respect to department asking for physical presence of beneficiaries to get pension, the Directorate of Social Welfare (DSW) Kashmir today informed that in lieu with Jammu and Kashmir Integrated Social Security Rules 2022 application for grant of pension under Integrated Social Security Scheme shall be submitted Online and beneficiaries no longer require to visit departmental offices.

It was further informed that the department has already shifted to electronic mode of fund transfer whereby the beneficiaries are provided financial assistance through online mode directly into their bank accounts and are not required to visit any of the offices in this regard.
