Police flex muscles on people protesting against the alleged harassment in red zone area of Choshot here in Leh region.

Aghast over the police action, Imam Khomeni Memorial Trust Kargil demanded stern action against those policemen who according to the Trust even didn’t spare women and children and beat them blue and black.

People of Choshot in Leh were alleging that quarantined student of the area are being charged for the medical expenses.

“The District administration Leh should listen to the problems of the people living in containment area of Chushot Block. Besides, the quarantined students and other should not be charged for the B/L expenses and the expenses should be borne by UT administration,” Chairman Imam Khomeni Trust told .

He demanded action under law against those responsible for the undue use of force on people including women and children.( KNT )
