The main aim of the event was to refrain youth from drug menace and to make them aware about its impacts. Police is holding various youth-centric programmes to engage them in constructive activities while adopting the sports, cultural and other activities.

The purpose of J&K Police to organize such events is to explore and tap hidden talent of budding youth and give them opportunity to improve and hone up their skills and at the same time keep them away from drug abuse and other social evils. Besides, Police are keen to organise such programmes in future so that young generation could be abstain from social evils like drug addiction and other ill-designed works.
