Srinagar, Jan 15 : A police personnel died after he was found unconscious in his room at the Police Control Room (PCR) here on Thursday, officials said.

An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner—(KNC) that The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Barri, son of Biru Gujjar, a resident of Shali Gandoh in Doda district, serving with the 6th Battalion (IRP).
He was immediately shifted to PCR Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Officials said the preliminary cause of death was cardiac arrest.
The body has been kept at the PCR mortuary for completion of medical and legal formalities. Further details are awaited.—(KNC)
