A group of police personnel, which was relieved from Leh and posted in Srinagar, said they were without salary for the past three months.
“At a time when we are already undergoing a crisis due to COVID19, our problem is getting deepened as we are without salary for three months,” said a police personnel and appealed the authorities to take immediate steps in this regard.
“We are a group of 80 police personnel without salary. We fervently appeal the DGP to intervene in the matter personally so that our salary is released,” he said, urging the authorities to issues their formal relieving order.
A senior police officer here said the department will look into the matter. “Nobody has brought this issue into our notice,” said the officer. “Their LPCs might not have reached us, but we will solve the problem within minimum stipulated time.”
