Police seizes 05 vehicles for Illegal extraction & transportation of minerals

Police in Baramulla have seized 05 vehicles involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals from Mirgund Pattan area of Baramulla.

Officers from Police Post Mirgund & Police Station Pattan have seized five vehicles (02 Tippers & 3 Tractors) involved in extraction and transportation of raw materials illegally extracted from Mirgund Pattan area of Baramulla.

Police requests the people not to indulge in illegal mining activities from any Nallah as it is the violation of Government rules. Persons found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighbourhood with the local police units.
