Jammu, August 7 : A 22-year-old pony operator was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a water tank in Katra area of Kathua on Friday, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Basharat Ahmed, son of Ghulam Ahmed and a resident of Sildhar, Tehsil Mahore, District Reasi.
Officials told that the body was recovered from a water tank in Maytal area of Kathua.

A police team reached the spot soon after being informed and retrieved the body. It was later shifted to CHC Katra for post-mortem examination.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter and started an investigation to ascertain the cause of death.
