Proud Moment for J&K: Mohammad Qais to Represent India at Asian Jr. Soft Tennis Championship

Srinagar, Jan — In a significant achievement for Jammu & Kashmir, young athlete Mohammad Qais has been selected to represent India at the 2nd Asian Junior Soft Tennis Championship 2026, scheduled to be held next month.

Qais, already a standout talent at a young age, has consistently excelled in the sport. He is a three-time Gold Medalist at the District Srinagar level, a three-time Gold Medalist at the Union Territory level, and has represented J&K at the National level.

His selection marks a proud moment not only for the Union Territory but also for Qais personally, as he prepares to compete at an international platform and carry the national flag.
