“Western Disturbance is back. The intensity of the upcoming Western Disturbance has slightly increased, improving the chances of rain and snowfall across J&K from 13–15 October,” Kashmir Weather, an independent weather forecaster based in Kashmir, said.

The system is expected to bring rain in the plains and snowfall in the higher reaches of the region during the period, the forecaster added.
