BJP national general secretary and party’s pointman on Jammu and Kashmir, Ram Madhav is arriving here tomorrow on a two-day visit to review political and security situation of the State including performance of the Government.
Madhav has called meeting of the BJP Legislature Party at party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar at 5 pm tomorrow, which will be attended by all party Ministers, MLAs, MLCs and senior office bearers.
He will take assessment of the situation prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir on both security and political fronts, party sources said, adding he would return to New Delhi on Saturday afternoon. His visit would be confined to Jammu.
Madhav’s visit comes at a time when the BJP was facing people’s wrath in Hiranagar and Kathua over people’s demand for handing over minor girl’s rape-cum-murder case to CBI and Nowshera, Kalakote over the demand of Additional Deputy Commissioner apart from some other issues.
Yesterday, BJP president Sat Sharma ‘CA’ and organizing secretary Ashok Koul, had briefed Madhav on the situation, in New Delhi.
