Ganderbal, Mar 11 (KNC): In a remarkable display of spiritual devotion during the holy month of Ramadan, over 100 girls have entered I’tikaf at Madrasa Fatimah-ul-Zehra in Sindhbal Peerpora area of Ganderbal district, dedicating the last Ashra to prayers, worship and reflection.

Participants will spend the final ten days of Ramadan in seclusion, engaging in continuous prayers, recitation of the Holy Qur’an and other religious practices aimed at strengthening their faith during the most sacred period of the month, as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC.

Teachers and organisers at the madrasa said that the number of girls observing I’tikaf has increased this year, reflecting growing enthusiasm among young students towards religious learning and spiritual devotion.

Local residents and parents have appreciated the madrasa management for providing a peaceful and disciplined environment for the girls, saying the initiative plays an important role in guiding the younger generation towards spiritual values and Islamic teachings during the blessed days of Ramadan.
