Senior Congress Leader and Ex MLA Devsar Mohd Amin Bhat today urged the JK Govt to release the prisoners before the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Fitr inorder to restore the confidence among the people.
Mohd Amin Bhat has said that scores of political leaders and others are languishing in different jails in J&K and outside since nine months, the current situation in the backdrop of the pandemic has added woes to their families making them more apprehensive about the safety of their jailed family members, he said.
Bhat urged the JK Govt to release the prisoners before Eid Ul Fitr.
Congress Leader also laid emphasizing over ensuring hassle-free movement of Migrant Labourers who are stranded in Kashmir as well in Jammu ensuring that they reach their respective states, similarly the JK people stranded in other states be facilitated to return to J&K before the auspicious occasion of Shab E Qader & Eidul Fitr, he added.
