This prestigious honor has earlier been bestowed upon legendary medical figures such as Dr. G.Q. Allaqaband, Ms. Khurroo, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, and Dr. Showkat Zargar, placing Dr. Rashid in the distinguished league of pioneers whose work continues to inspire future generations.
The award was formally presented to Dr. Rashid by IAS officer Mr. Karoo and Justice Bashir Kirmani, making the occasion even more memorable.
