The official notice stated that those who have encroached on the Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC) land must remove the encroachments within the specified period.

“If any person fails to comply, the department will take action and they will be responsible for any charges incurred,” the notice reads.

According to officials, separate eviction notices have been distributed to residents throughout the district.

The notice warned that strict action will be taken against those who fail to remove the illegal encroachments in accordance with the law.
