Despite its enduring appeal, Bhaand Pather has remained largely unchanged in its performance style, design, and script, holding steadfast to its oral tradition. However, as the world of performing arts evolves rapidly, there is a growing need to bring this age-old art form into the contemporary spotlight without losing its essence.
Stagnation in Tradition: A Double-Edged Sword
