Srinagar, Aug 6: An accident took place near the Air Strip in Bijbehara, close to Donipora Crossing, on Thursday.
The vehicles involved were a Swift Dzire bearing registration number HP37G/0172 and a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK22B/7482.
Officials told that four persons sustained injuries in the accident. The injured include Surinder Kumar, son of Roop Lal Sharma, a resident of Chandigarh, Mohali, who is stated to be in serious condition. Another injured has been identified as S. Chand Munda, resident of Pahalanpur, Himachal Pradesh. One more passenger and the driver of one of the vehicles also received injuries, with the driver said to have suffered minor injuries.
All the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment. Doctors said the condition of Surinder Kumar is serious.
