Rusted grenade, 191 bullets recovered in J&K’s Samba

Security forces on Thursday claimed to have recovered a rusted grenade and 191 bullets from a nallah last night in Samba district of Jammu division.

Quoting official sources, news agency reported that the recovery was made by CRPF’s 38 Battalion alongside police during searches launched in Kheedian village of Bari Brahmanna area of the district.

The recovered arms include a hand grenade, 191 rounds of 303-rifle besides 20 charger clips, all in rusted form, from a nallah, the official added.

A case under relevant sections is being taken up for further investigations, the official added. ( GNS )
